Abstract

This reflection aims to present the philosophical and sociological debate that arose at the time of the outbreak of the pandemic COVID-19 due to the mutations that, upon immediately establishing themselves in the political, legal, economic and social fields, announced the end of the modes of governance and sociability that had previously existed in all countries. In this context, the neoliberal states, long submitted to the global logic of the market that had dismantled the structures that maintain social welfare, found themselves dismissed in the face of the intensity and globality of the health crisis. Based on the analysis of the positions of vanguard intellectuals on the effects of the pandemic crisis, we seek to highlight the discussion on the themes emerging from the end of neoliberal capitalism, deglobalization and the return of the State as a privileged actor in social construction.
