Abstract

The text deals with a construction of sociological observations (Soziologische Beobachtungen) on the so-called epistemological turn in the social sciences with the repositioning of the Observer (Der Beobachter) in light of the theory of social systems of a structural-functionalist and autopoietic nature. Observations that both Constructions represent sociological innovations and overlaps in modern systemic theory. The methodological idea of ​​the Observer as a cognitive construction through a formulating process through an observation of knowledge and ignorance, in other words, the proposition of another theory of knowledge, gives rise to an epistemological shift in the matrix of Western thought. And the sociological constructions of the theory of social systems, the matrix of systemic thinking that has as one of its premises the abandonment of analytical thinking – characteristic of the first modernity, with its dual matrix of Subject/Object as elements that drive the production of knowledge – and its replacement by another cognition that elects System/Environment as the construction of knowledge. As well as, sociological formulation of society as a social system of Autopoiesis, in the affirmation of communication (action model) as a structure that provides self-reproduction, self-referentiality, reflexivity and circularity of the social system.
