Abstract

The article discusses the constitution of a political society through the Constitution, highlighting its symbolic role in the construction of equality and political identity. The text emphasizes that the Constitution, more than just a set of norms, is a tool that creates and defines the political “people”, capable of recognizing themselves in common rights and duties. Throughout the analysis, the author addresses how the Constitution transforms the crowd into a political and democratic society. Additionally, the work explores the concept of continuous democracy, in the articulation of the civil and political space, through the public space, the true location of the expression of the general will. The reflection also includes the evolution of the concept of citizenship, which transcends national borders and expands into a global perspective, linking the citizens of the world to common rights and struggles.
