Philippe Nonet, University of California, Berkeley

Philippe Nonet (1939-2020) obteve sua graduação em direito na Université de Liège em 1961 e doutorado em sociologia em 1966, sob a supervisão de Philip Selznick, na University of California, Berkeley, onde se tornou professor no mesmo ano. Ocupou várias posições nas principais universidades do mundo e, junto com Selznick, foi responsável pelo até hoje influente conceito de direito responsivo.
